Ratings describe a particular class experience, not a professor’s worth. Only moderated, explicitly submitted reviews appear publicly, without account names or emails. Review counts always accompany averages. Private drafts never contribute to ratings.

Profiles and ratings describe outputs. Seven things only show up in the room, and they are what students remember a year later.

1. A real bar, safely reachable. Hard problems, and no one is humiliated for a wrong first answer.
2. Teaches the method, not only the answer. You can run it without them after the quarter ends.
3. Materials show real hours. Cases, slides and feedback that were clearly built for this class.
4. Claims arrive with evidence. Data and sources, and disagreement is welcome when it brings some.
5. Notices what each student brings. Feedback anchored to the work, not to who talks most.
6. Cold calls keep dignity intact. Pressure on the thinking, never on the person.
7. Believes in students’ ambitions out loud, and treats them as reachable.

The class reviews below cover learning value and clarity. The rest you can only judge by sitting in; a first class and one visit to office hours are the fastest way to find out.
